Sorry for the lack of updates recently - mainly because there hasn’t been much going on!

Just got back from what is now a regular  appearance at the Swanage Blues Festival. Had a strange gig in a cafe at 11 am on the Friday - mostly mums and kids, but very nice nonetheless. As usual, the walking and the incredible open mics at The Red Lion made the weekend.

Two  interesting gigs coming up: I’m giving a short Blues talk at the Pill (near Bristol) Music Festival: in the Memorial Hall at 5 pm on Saturday 22nd October. Then on 4th November I’m doing a gig at The Ham Tree, Holt (Wiltshire) with the incredible Jacqueline Sharp (listen to the sample from “Lush” on the CDs page). Then the following weekend I’m off to London to play at Hooper’s Bar in Camberwell, then a very informal gig at The Gowlett, Peckham on the Sunday afternoon.

Then that’s it! Nothing in the diary!

Ah - I nearly forgot !I’ve got a lovely new guitar - a 1949 Gibson L4C. There are already clips of me playing it on my Myspace, Youtube and Facebook pages, and I’ll get a photo of it on this site shortly.
